#I'm Looking For a Zombie

#I'm Looking For a Zombie is a twelve-episode action-horror series following Aki and her friends as they venture into a zombie-infested wasteland searching for her missing father. Growing up sheltered in a small village with only stories of the old world, the group discovers that survival outside their community is far more dangerous than they imagined—yet paradoxically more thrilling. The series blends horror and comedy while weaving mystery throughout, creating an unconventional take on the zombie apocalypse genre through the eyes of young people who have never known anything but ruins.

The show began airing in fall 2026 and currently has new episodes releasing weekly. The second episode aired on October 10, 2026, with the series continuing its regular schedule. This is a complete twelve-episode season, making it a contained narrative arc perfect for viewers looking to follow a story from beginning to end without uncertainty about cancellation or extended waits between seasons.

If you enjoy supernatural action with comedic moments and appreciate stories that subvert typical zombie fiction by focusing on characters who see danger as exhilaration rather than pure dread, this series offers a fresh perspective on the genre. The premise centers on exploration and discovery rather than mere survival, appealing to both horror fans and those who prefer character-driven narratives with lighter tones mixed into darker settings.
