The Prince of Tennis II U-17 WORLD CUP: Final Member Selection Match

The Prince of Tennis II U-17 WORLD CUP: Final Member Selection Match is a sports anime following Team Japan's competitive trials to determine which players will represent their country in the World Cup final. Old rivalries resurface as established characters clash in high-stakes matches, blending intense competition with the comedic moments the franchise is known for. The series began airing in fall 2026 and continues its weekly release schedule.

This installment serves as a crucial narrative bridge within the larger U-17 World Cup storyline, focusing specifically on the internal selection process rather than international matchups. Viewers invested in the Tennis no Ouji-sama universe will recognize many familiar faces competing against each other, making this an essential entry for franchise followers. The format prioritizes character-driven competition and rivalry dynamics over introducing entirely new players.

New episodes air weekly, with the third episode scheduled for mid-October. The series maintains the action-comedy-sports balance that defines the franchise, making it accessible to both longtime fans and viewers new to competitive tennis anime.
