MAGICAL GIRL RAISING PROJECT restart
Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku: restart
What is MAGICAL GIRL RAISING PROJECT restart?
Magical Girl Raising Project restart is a fall 2026 TV anime that blends magical girl action with thriller elements. The series follows Pechka, a magical girl whose power lets her make food delicious, as she and 16 other magically gifted girls are thrust into what begins as a training exercise but quickly becomes something far more sinister. Each girl possesses unique abilities granted by the mysterious Land of Magic, a hidden realm unknown to the wider world, and their contrasting personalities create tension as they navigate an increasingly dangerous situation.
The show premiered on October 6, 2026, and new episodes continue to release weekly. Episode 2 airs on October 12, 2026. This entry in the Magical Girl Raising Project franchise takes a darker turn than typical magical girl stories, treating the genre's action-thriller potential seriously. The premise explores not just combat abilities but the psychological toll of forced competition among girls who barely know each other.
If you're drawn to magical girl anime that prioritize tension and high stakes over lighthearted adventures, restart delivers a more complex take on the formula. The large cast of magical girls means diverse power sets and competing motivations drive the narrative forward, making each episode's developments feel unpredictable.
Some magical girls fight. Others do not. Chosen by the mysterious Land of Magic, which exists unbeknownst to the rest of the world, magical girls are each granted a unique power. Pechka, whose magic makes food delicious, is forced to take part in a mysterious virtual game together with 16 unfamiliar magical girls, each with her own distinctive personality. It was supposed to be a safe training exercise designed to improve their magical abilities. But instead, it marks the beginning of a carefully orchestrated nightmare - a forbidden trial. A new Magical Girl Raising Project has begun. (Source: OceanVeil)
