What is HORROR COLLECTOR?
Horror Collector is a twelve-episode supernatural horror series following the eruption of urban legends across Japan. The anime began airing in October 2026 and releases new episodes weekly. The story centers on a mysterious faceless girl whose presence has awakened dormant urban legends, forcing ordinary people into encounters with supernatural phenomena they were never meant to face. A figure known as the boy in the red hood emerges as humanity's only potential savior against these manifestations, though his reliability remains uncertain.
The series blends horror with mystery elements, building tension through encounters with folklore brought to terrifying life. Rather than focusing on a single protagonist, the narrative emphasizes the widespread nature of these supernatural events and how they reshape reality for those unfortunate enough to witness them. The increasing frequency of sightings suggests an escalating crisis that demands explanation.
Horror Collector appeals to viewers seeking atmospheric supernatural storytelling with roots in Japanese folklore and contemporary urban legend culture. The twelve-episode format provides a complete story arc within a single season, making it accessible for those preferring contained narratives over multi-season commitments. New episodes air weekly, allowing audiences to experience the mystery unfolding at a steady pace.
