Dandivine

Dandivine is an action mecha series that premiered in fall 2026, continuing a story set two decades after a legendary giant robot saved the world from a threat called Aposdoll. The narrative shifts perspective to a new generation when high school student Gekiha Shijima receives an unexpected call from his uncle Yusaku Kuroiwa, the robot's former pilot, inviting him to take control of the machine as the Aposdoll mysteriously returns. The series explores themes of legacy and responsibility as the protagonist steps into a role that defined his uncle's past.

The show airs weekly on a standard TV broadcast schedule. Episode 2 is airing on October 14, 2026. Mecha fans seeking stories with real stakes and character-driven narratives will find appeal in Dandivine's premise, which balances nostalgia for the original threat's defeat with fresh tension surrounding its unexpected resurrection. The setup hints at exploring why the crisis returned and what it means for both the veteran pilot and the untested youth who must now face it.
