Gekkan! Nanmono Anime

Gekkan! Nanmono Anime is a comedy slice-of-life ONA series that brings Yuri Yokomizo's Nandemo Ikimono characters to life through short animated episodes. The concept spans an unusually broad cast—animals, plants, food, and inanimate objects all get their moment to shine with comedic storytelling centered on everyday situations. The series began airing in April 2025 and continues to release new episodes on a monthly schedule across multiple platforms including Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and ABEMA, making it accessible whether you prefer social media or dedicated streaming.

Being an ONA distributed through social platforms means these shorts prioritize quick, snappy humor over extended narrative arcs. With the next episode scheduled for late October 2026, the series maintains a consistent monthly release cadence, allowing viewers to check in regularly without committing to weekly viewing. This format suits anyone looking for lighthearted content that doesn't demand significant time investment but delivers consistent comedy through creative character premises.
