What is Super Psychic Policeman Chojo?
Super Psychic Policeman Chojo is a comedy series following an unconventional police partnership in Chinjuku. Rookie officer Nao brings formidable judo skills and exceptional physical strength to the job, while her partner Chojo compensates with an arsenal of psychic abilities. Despite his mind-reading capabilities, Chojo struggles with social awareness, creating comedic friction as the pair navigate their duties together. The series balances slice-of-life humor with their crime-fighting responsibilities, focusing on character dynamics rather than high-stakes drama.
The show is currently airing its first season in fall 2026, running for twelve episodes total. Episode 3 airs on October 20, 2026, so new installments are releasing on a weekly schedule. This is the ideal series for viewers who enjoy lighthearted humor grounded in everyday situations, particularly those who appreciate the clash between contrasting personalities. The comedy stems from the gap between Chojo's theoretical advantages and his practical inability to function smoothly in social contexts, paired with Nao's straightforward, physical approach to problem-solving.
If you're looking for something with genuine character chemistry and consistent weekly releases, this fall 2026 lineup addition offers accessible entertainment that doesn't demand heavy commitment or prior knowledge.
The ultimate police duo is here to keep the peace! Rookie officer Nao just joined the force. She’s got a black belt in judo and earned the nickname “Gorilla” for her insane strength.
